The European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA) would like to announce the results of the EARMA General Assembly 2021 and thank its members for their eager participation and involvement.
As part of the General Assembly 2021 that took place virtually, EARMA asked its members to choose a new Chair and some Board members. The event was hosted by Andrew Jackson at Durham University, England, and voting was conducted electronically.
The results have been counted and certified, and those selected to represent you are:
Evelina Brännvall of Lulea University of Technology, Sweden, will be EARMA’s new Chair.
The new Ordinary Board members selected are:
Eleonora Zuolo of Sorbonne University, France.
John Donovan of Technological University Dublin, Ireland.
The new alternate Board members are:
Massimo Busuoli of Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Brussels.
Rita Gil Mata of Magellan – European Affairs Consultancy, Portugal.
EARMA would like to congratulate all of those elected to the positions of Chair and Board member, and we very much look forward to working with you when these terms commence September 1, 2021.
We would also like to say a special thank you to Esther Philips for her service as Chair over the previous two years, and particularly during these unusual times. We would also like to thank Bori Schenk of Dr Borbala Schenk Consultancy and Ragnar Lie of Universities Norway for their service to the Board in recent years.
