Title: Spreading the Joy: the work of the EARMA Awards Committee
Every year, the EARMA Awards Committee allocates up to €20K of awards and grants directly back to EARMA members through a wide range of initiatives. We focus on managing several funding calls across a typical year, the majority of which focus on supporting activities aligned with EARMA’s annual conference. Many are travel awards, where EARMA wishes to reward members for their efforts to either organise or attend a range of events that benefit EARMA, our members and the applicants themselves. Other awards focus on recognising the amazing achievements and dedication exhibited by many members each year through their contributions to EARMA and to the wider RMA profession. Some support members undertaking professional development and training courses.
Chris Knighting (Chair) and Nicolas Schulthess (Deputy Chair) will provide attendees with a more detailed explanation of the Awards Committee’s composition, processes and priorities, sharing with the audience how the committee works to provide direct support to our growing EARMA community.
